My Self Care List

1. Go to Nia at least five times a week
2. Keep a journal next to bed so that I can write before go to bed, if I wake up any during night, and first thing in the morning
3. Eat healthy food and make smoothie in morning
4 Drink water
5. Take Omega 3 multivitamin
6. See Therapist once a week and let feelings come out
7. Listen to music
8. Breathe and do Yoga
9. Get on the floor and get grounded
10. Meditate
11. Dance
12. Create a Nia routine with my favorite music
13. Bar the music to Nia Routine Passion, Earth Song, Beautiful
14. Create an abstract painting
15. Use Aromatherapy and essential oils (Lavender, rosemary, Cedarwood)
16.  Stay close to friends
17. If I need to talk to someone reach out
18. Take Epsom Salt baths
19. Get a massage
20. Watch only feel good movies
21. Make sure that I am getting enough sleep
I made this list about a month ago because I needed a visual to look at when I was stressed. This list actually helps me and keeps me grounded.  With my Complex Post traumatic Stress, I have come to understand that there are certain things that I need to do to take care of myself and that I need to keep my stress level low. By doing this, I am able to control some of the symptoms that I have.
